Characteristics of defoamers for water-based coatings

Water based wetting agents are used to reduce the time and energy required during the dispersion process, stabilize the pigment dispersion to be dispersed, and regulate the fluidity of pigment particles by grinding and dispersing the surface properties of pigment particles. It has many types and can be divided into water-based wetting agents, solvent based wetting agents, and UV curing wetting agents according to the system. According to its main components, it can be divided into anionic wetting agents, cationic wetting agents, electrically neutral wetting agents, multifunctional wetting agents, and non-ionic wetting agents. Among them, the price of anions is relatively low, and non-ionic wetting agents are easy to desorb and migrate in coatings.
